1. Overview of How Remix Works

Remix is designed as a local-first fitness application. Your workouts, settings, and training history are primarily stored locally on your device.

If you create an account, your data is securely transmitted to our cloud infrastructure to enable:

• Cross-device synchronization
• Account recovery
• Secure backup of your training data

If you delete your account, synced cloud data is permanently deleted in accordance with this policy.

• Account information (email address, authentication credentials)
• Profile data (age, weight, fitness goals, experience level)
• Workout data (exercises performed, performance metrics, duration, difficulty selections)
• Preferences and app settings

• Device type, operating system, and app version
• Anonymous usage analytics (features accessed, session duration, app interactions)

2.3 Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (a service provided by Google) to collect event-based usage data. This information helps us understand how users interact with the app and improve functionality.

We do not use analytics data for third-party advertising and we do not sell personal data.

3. How We Store and Process Your Data

3.1 Local Storage

Your workout data and settings are stored locally on your device.

3.2 Cloud Synchronization

If you create an account, your data is securely synchronized to our cloud servers to enable cross-device access and backup.

3.3 Infrastructure and Service Providers

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate Remix, including:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) – cloud hosting and database infrastructure
• Amazon Cognito – user authentication and account management
• Firebase Analytics (Google) – product analytics
• Payment processors (such as Apple App Store or Google Play, if applicable)

These providers process data on our behalf under contractual agreements designed to protect your information.

3.4 Data Location

Our servers are located in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.

8. Account Deletion

Users may permanently delete their account at any time from within the app under Profile → Delete Account.

Deleting your account will permanently remove your account information, preferences, workout data, and associated records from our systems.

Certain limited records may be retained if required for legal, security, or compliance purposes.
